    Greetings,

    In all the changes, and the foggy nature of my brain, I forgot one important change yesterday in this thread, which is that of the appointment of WoorLord as the CO of FNS.

    He has served as the XO of the department for some time, under Solace, and now takes on the reigns of CO, he will be able to appoint his own XO in due time.

    Congratulations WoorLord, and good luck in the role! I didn't forget you, I just forgot I made the change...

    Thank you, Three - and thank you to everyone who has taken the time to congratulate me and wish me luck; I am very grateful for your support.

    I want to thank Mentioned User Solace for his belief in me this past year and his necessary hand-holding and advice in the early days of my work within FNS - you were a great mentor to follow. I am fast approaching my first year with UFP (anniversary next couple of weeks in fact). When I joined, I just wanted to meet new folks, chat Trek and use the opportunity to write about things I enjoy writing about, so to have the chance to lead the department, and the utterly fantastic people who donate their own time and creativity to it, as well as add a little of myself to its ongoing mission - is a singular honour.

    I will take some time before beginning the search for an XO, and there's no rush. For now, I intend to get back to a blank page and continue to write some more. If anyone has any ideas or topics they would like FNS to cover, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know.

    Oh and Mentioned User Kerry Malone... one thing I did learn about Solace when working with him - never get him wet, and never feed him after midnight. Wink
