Do you mean the hanger pets? You can get them from the main fleets starbase at one of the vendors

not Dyson, you can get Rep pets from New Romulus and Nukara rep.
Other than that you can get standard pets from ESD ship requisitions area or from the Dilithium store for upgraded versions.

No worries Captains, when i'm ready to change ship I know now where to get the shuttles from Thanks. What ones are better? I mean the Akira is a fast attack ship anyway, did want them to bring out a decent fed cruser/carrier "Constellation would be perfect" but as of yet nothing....

The "best" hanger depends on the situation.

In an STF, you would want Elite Rom Scorps. Most targets are slow with high hulls, so the hanger's plasma HYT results in them having the highest DPS out of all the possible hangers. As always, any hanger on Intercept is a good way to neutralize Borg plasma balls.

In the Dyson Sphere, the Elite Rom Scorps are practically useless. Voth have all sorts of AoEs and chaining attacks that will nuke your fighters in 1-2 hits, plus their heavy shields mean the torpedoes don't do as well - assuming the HYT didn't get nuked by the Voth's AoEs in the first place. In that case a hanger of tough shuttles are more useful - I prefer the Elite Delta Flyers, since they use Transphasic torps and have Taychon beam III. (If you were in an actual carrier, you'd probably take two hangers of Elite Obelisk Swarmers and spam them, but in an escort carrier we usually don't launch fast enough to use them as effectively.)

For PvP, you'd want Yellowstone Runabouts because the Tractor Beam III will really mess with your victim.

Well, if you're sticking with Fed Tech (and assume the Atrox don't count), the Elite Peregrines aren't bad for STFs.
