I just got myself 5 fleet modules from getting five of my reputations to tier 6 and so now I'm wanting to get a fleet ship. I'm currently using the Khopesh Tactical Dreadnought Warbird and I've heard it's one of the best dps ships out there but I don't know how old that info is. Specifically I'm looking for a T6 fleet ship that does high dps, possibly more than my Khopesh does, any suggestions? Also I'm not interested in any science-heavy ships as I don't understand science dps at all.

UPDATE: Thanks everyone for your advice, I used my fleet modules to buy the Fleet Shepard Miracle Worker Battlecruiser, although honestly I didn't really like it and went straight back to my Khopesh lol.

One thing to point out, if you've the CStore version of said ship first, the fleet version will only cost you the one module.

The T6 Scimitar is still one of the best DPS ships out there, only second to the Vadwaaur Juggernaught (Promo ship) you won’t find a fleet ship that out classed the Scimi unfortunately.

There is no fleet Scimitar as its on par with fleet variant ships.

This depends on if you've the C store version of the ship before hand to complete the console set. But the Defiant is an amazingly fun ship to fly. It's a little on the you get cought you get blown up side but still it is sooo much fun sending out waves of torps and the sound it makes as it fires the quad phasers gives me a smile each time I see a ship blown up to it.

If your fed alligned and got some of the Defiant's on past freebies (the T5 was last years Anni freebie) then it might be worth considering.

Aside from that I do love the Hathos Warbird, it mightn't top any charts but it's fast and fun to fly and is basically like a Romulan version of the Defiant. It can also battlecloak without the need of a console unlike the Defiant. The fleet version is Fleet Dhelan Warbird [T6], and comes with a Railgun acording to a post I read, though never tested the Fleet version just the C Store.

This all depends on what you class best / fun. Best DPS go with the Scimitar, but you want to fly circles around ships and blow ♥♥♥♥ up... there are other choices

Ok thanks for the information Brian and Solace. If there isn't any fleet ship that can beat the Khopesh in dps then I'm also interested in any fleet ship that has high hull/tanky and is engineering centered.

Some of the Romulan fleet ships I'd recommend which you should look in-depth are; Malem & Faeht Intel Warbird.

If looking for ENG and tank oriented, Kara - but its turn rate is that of Galaxy, just letting you know.

The first two do have several builds to ooze out as much DPS and also come with Enhanced battle cloak.

The arbiter or kurak in fleet versions could be an alternative. But the engineering part can't really shine for those if you run a a2b setup unless you do some serios layout changes.

The new mw fleet battlecruisers might be competitive with the khopesh, in fleet versions ofc, but on pure raw damage, khopesh can only be parred by warship from jh or the vaadwaur juggie.

Both can run romulan captains.

Decloak bonus+Elite Romulan Drones won't outparse the better starship mastery and the solid NSB3 that the Jemmie WS can slot. Both fit aux2batt.

Jemmie WS runs on warpcore, Khopesh on singularity (better power levels for the warp cores).
Jemmie turns better.
Khopesh has a better trait if you can use a torp.
Jemmie yields better crth/crtd ratio (with a romulan captain in it)
Khopesh has a higher "cool" factor due to looks and stuff.

You forget the Flagship 2 Piece.

The current ranking looks like this:

1.) Juggernaut
2.) Scimitar
3.) Jem'Hadar Warship
4.) Husnock
5.) Vengeance - Gagarin and a few others

I've based my logic on a single purchase. If he had the option to get the 2 piece flagship (tac+engi consoles), that would push the scale a bit to the khopesh. That crth+turn rate passive+ 0.33 cycle weapon speed(2m cooldown) and the cat2 bonus dmg from the emergency buff (2m) spike the numbers up, but that bidding starts at 6k zen.

Also following the dps league pointers. These guys have dropped the [dmg] and cat2 bonuses for [crtd] and crtd/crth consoles.

I agree for mid-top budget on your ship ranking.

For single purchases: jemhadar vanguard warship > t6 scim.

For fleet modules (1-5): battlecruisers come to mind (fleet arbiter/kurak, shepard-gagarin/kdf counterpart) - but they might underperform compared to a well built scimitar. Might. Not entirely sure. That's a piloting/playstyle/survivability/priority thing more than a ship frame vs ship frame.

CrtD is currently slightly better over Dmg that however only important if you are min/maxer also this switch makes only sense if you can keep up a CrtH of 50% all the time otherwise Dmg will still be better.

I tend to agree with you on this one.

Taking a simple math presumption as the basic weapon dps per weapon would be 100 per cannon and 50 per turret (numbers that are here just to simplify math).

The dmg mods are regardless of crth/crtd a final multiplier of 0.03x to your damage weapon (presuming a fully buffed cannon would strike a 200 dps value and a turret would strike a 100 dps value).

Under these circumstances, [dmg]x4 is 200*(12/100) added to the initial 200 dps. = Certain increase to a total of 24, up to a 224 (where a 100+ crtd would factor in). That's gonna be a crit of 448 or more.

[Crtd]x4 would be a still 200 dps per cannon, but its crit would be from a 180+ crtd standpoint (which means 200+(1.8x200)) resulting into a 200+360 crit =560 crit or more.

At a 100% crit chance, its a 20% better thing to have crtd over dmg. At 50% crit chance, its 10% better or less. Under 30% crit chance, I think they even out.

Under 20% unbuffed critical chance, you should go [dmg] all in.

How are you ranging in crth, crtd and dmg/crtd, Brigder? I'm between 22 and 32 crth on unbuffed space on my toons. And I mix crtd with dmg as equal

My values are similar too yours, I am switching away now from my Dmgx3 Pen Weapons to Dmgx4 or CrtDx4 the good thing is re-engineering so I can quickly switch between them. Once we have the Personal Endeavors done and get the 7,5% CrtH, CrtD should be the way to go but who knows Cryptic will be going to change things.
