Greetings,

In the interest of transparency, we are letting you all know that the survey you are given at the end of signing roll call will be changed in the future. We have noticed a trend of Disapprove and Strongly Disapprove, with no reason given, and in some cases, someone doing this through all but one area. We don't feel this is appropriate, nor beneficial to the community.

This is not an attempt to censor, or silence anyone, we value feedback, and if you disapprove of something, we would like to know what that is, if you don't tell us, we can't change anything.

With all this in mind, selecting either of the disapprove options will in the future require you to provide a reason as to why, this way we can address your concern. All comments submitted through the survey are anonymous, so we won't know if you said "I hate Three of Seven", just please be respectful with your comments.

How could anyone possibly strongly disapprove of anything here?!?!?

This place is always run extremely well and I've never seen any reason to be anything but fully satisfied when I filled out the survey!
And to not give a reason for disapproval????

If someone has a sincere concern or feeling of disapproval (although I'm personally struggling to imagine why anyone really would) then giving additional feedback by way of detailed commentary as to why should be mandatory. After all, there's no way to improve anything if there's no information given.

It's the difference between criticism and constructive criticism. Anyone can critique- but being able to articulate it can tremendously affect an outcome if that's the genuine desire. There could be other reasons ("oops, I clicked the wrong button") but if there's a reason why someone has concerns they need to be brought to light.

Personally my experience over the years with this community has been second to none and completely positive. I treat everyone with the same respect and consideration I'd expect from others.

Awesome change! However what would be a nice feature to have would be some kind of Opt-out button on a rolecall that would skip the feedback survey if members wish to. That way you can also solve the problem of little feedback or comments like "N/A" etc. But still kudos!
