I am very excited for this its good to see old faces back to continue the greatness that was The Next Generation, happy to see Seven in there perhaps some post endgame story?. Now Seeing Brent Spiner back doing data just gave me the chills of excitement Everything looks good just for one small little thing that is chipping away at my brain...the bridge scene. Bloody JJ/Disco Feel about it and that Sneaky bit of lens flair just pissed me off! Christ I miss the old set bridges.

Can't say I am a fan of the change to Seven of Nines Borg implant, it looks less realistic, also, Datas eyes are too yellow! Though, interesting to see Seven looking like she's a bit more human than she was in Voyager.

I got a few Firefly vibes from the trailer as well.

well the one thing I noticed is the lack of information in the trailor all I seen was a couple of familiar faces and a Borg tactical cube and if I remember correctly the same or vary simualr musc as discovery when showing scenes.

I think the make up was done well. But they need to do something about those contact lenses. It throws me off a bit. Unless they can come up with some sort of viable explanation why his eyes are different.

Looking at this trailer I can't wait. Looks like the romulans are reverse engineering Borg tech(looked like Hugh being dissected by them) probably to reclaim their empire or something kind of like the STO story. I'm going to guess 7 of 9 is going by her human name and probably working for section 31. They also confirmed Riker and Troy so I'm willing to bet we will see Q in the season 1 finale and possibly DS9 and Voyager guest appearances in season 2. Normally I just stream this stuff but I'll legit sub to the CBS thing just for Picard.

Along with Picard the fact they asked the fans if they would be interested in a ToS series about the new Pike and the place erupted I'll be expecting the announcement for this trek series in vegas this year. By 2022 we will have several trek series running at the same time just like the mid 90's Its a good time to be a Star trek fan.

As per Kurtzman on the Star Trek Discovery panel, one of the short treks will be about Picard, kinda a prequel to explain the background and what took place.
