It's been kinda playing on my mind recently whenever I log into the character select screen, my initial thought each time is why play a Jem'Hadar? What do they actually offer that is better than the other factions?

I am genuinely curious as I have played the few missions the story offers, although it is quite short compared to the Romulan and ToS missions. If I actually wanted to put time into a JH, what would be the main selling point?

Mostly for space barbie effect, also for gamma recruit when they first launched. Apart from that Jemmies have some nice traits and get access to some cool ships, but with them now being able to use other factions ships it gives them far more diversity.

Personally I played a Jem Hadar on the Xbox on I can't think of a reason to endorse them.

You start max level which takes a lot of fun away and the campaign is short and pretty much the same deal you can get by doing the missions as another toon.

The ships used to be restricted but I'm pretty sure that's not the case now.

Thing is you can fake a Jem Hadar space barbie effect on an Alien toon which, in my opinion, has the preferable Alien traits. And, as mentioned, no more ship restrictions. And the non-Jem Hadar storylines are much more interesting. Again, all IMO, of course.

I made one, the only reason I still have him is because I have the Jem'Hadar Light Battlecruiser that I got from a lockbox... shocking LOL other than that I just use him for admiralty (mainly collecting dilithium) Attachment 11454 and certain events.

That was the only reason I created my Jem'Hadar toon. After finishing with that, I only use him for farming resources.

It's really quite sad considering the depth of story that DS9 offered, I would of been happy to see more of it

Gamma recruit and unlock the vangaurd ships for other factions. After that it's what beam in/warp effect you prefer

For me it is to have a full team of genetically powerful combat soldiers and I can be more aggressive and unforgiving unlike when I play a fed and wanna try to play good guy. Plus the Jem ships are good too to play around with.

Similar situation here, but since I never took away his gear (I have one set that I pass around whenever I need to actually play a character, basically it's my Recruit Events gear) he's still solid for Advanced queues. Thus he's one of my Endeavor alts, the other being my original Fed who was pulled out of retirement to fly a rainbow boat.

If your Jem'Hadar is a Gamma Recruit and has this Dominion Transponder than yes but if he is one you could have continoued playing him anyway if not you have to create a new one.
