My favourite of all time has to be star trek armada which I have just got to work once gain on my Win10 pc, I used to love all of the community mods and things like that but it's an awesome game on it's own too. I am also currently replaying TNG A Final Unity. what about yourself?

You got Armada to work on Win 10 do tell! We talking Armada 1 or 2, 2 was my favorite with the additional species and the massive Borg cube you can put together

Well I love Armada although I am more of a fan of armada 2 myself, I liked the ability to zoom out and stuff more.

I also really enjoy Birth of the Federation (and I've been trying out Star Trek Supremacy), Elite Force (Both RPG-X and the campaign, i'm not great at holomatch)

I prefer armada 1, the constant warping of ships kind makes armada 2 a little too messy for me but I don't mind it I used a you tube tutorial to get armada 1 to work. I have tried in the past using video turorials but they never seem to work but this one was perfect, I know you guys are fans of Armada 2 but in case you wanted to give 1 a try I have included the link for the video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdZbNsgs3zo

Oh I used to spend hours on Birth of the federation. It's a solid game and I love the exploration element that seems to be lost in recent star trek games

I'm the exact same, I spent hours playing BOTF back in the day. I quite liked using the Dominon Wars mod with a large galaxy just to give me more to explore haha.

I get what you mean about hte ship warping on Armada 2, thats why I either turn it off, or I'm playing Fleet Operations which doesn't have it as a feature.

I remember downloading a few mods for BOTF but could never get them to run properly. Armada 1 has hands down the best opening sequence of any star trek game ( in my opinion )

Well there is now a full installer for BOTH available online which comes prepacked with mods that you can select from, I'm hoping it's alright for me to mention it here (CL5 or 6 please edit this out if not)

I do agree, Armada 1's intro video was one of the best I've seen as well, and the story was just amazing especially the way they worked it so each of the story lines interweaved.

Wasn't a big fan of the temporal ship though, it looked a bit meh imho.

the Premonition ? yeah it was a clunky but i'm sure it won't stop cryptic charging 3000 zen for one at some point

Well that's if they can get the rights to it, as they could be held by activision as it was a ship unique to their game, same with the USS Typhon.

But I'd love to see some of those ships make it into canon, as I actually loved how the Typhon looked.
