Which torpedoes in the Lobi Store are worth getting? And do any of them have cool visual effects on impact?

Most of the lobi torpedoes aren’t worth jack, considering some of the best torpedoes can be acquired ingame through missons or reputations. If you’re looking a decent one with a cool effect, I’d suggest looking at the Quantum Phase Torpedo from the mission Sunrise.

I'd second the Quantum Phase torpedo as it can rip shields away quite easily so it's one of the few - if not the only - torpedoes were slamming it straight into shields during battle isn't a waste of time.

quantum phase is nice and free LOL but im really loving the dark matter quantum torpedo from the Discovery Legends Rep... also the Fleet Colony has some nice torpedoes also worth looking at...

Honestly if the 2pc Disco set wasn’t ingame, I’d still be running the Quantum Phase Torpedo. Not even kidding that one sat on my defiant for so long

I did switch to it and now it's mentioned, I forgot that the dark matter effect bypasses the shields and sticks to the target, so it's another excellent choice. However, I didn't like the purple torp effect so I went back to the quantum phase which is my go-to for every character. Space barbie won the day in that choice!

Purple Torp effect? Like my Herald Antiproton weapons? I must get one of these!

Honestly either is a good choice, if you want some ultra deeeeeeeeps go for the Dark Matter torp, if you want purttttty kabooms get the quantum phase

If you want some mad pew-pew, dakka-dakka projectile spam then you could grab the Ferengi missile launcher.
But having said that there is a free version from one of the Lukari missions so that’s probably a better choice.
The damage is rubbish but it looks mental.

I agree with you on that Sul! It looks great and has a total Halo battle feel to it (if you've played Halo that is heh) a load of hot garbage otherwise

I tried both the Quantum Phase and Dark Matter and stuck to the Quantum Phase. Mainly because I like the look of it, especially when you fire spreads. But as the others have said, both are very good
