Purely from my newbie perspective - but $50 (ish) just seems like a crazy amount of money to drop on some cosmetic items... Heck, you can buy an entire game for that. I don't see myself spending real money on STO (other than having bought the lifetime sub, because I do get that a game costs money!) and this does nothing to make me reconsider. Maybe if things like this were in the $5 range... But I guess it must be working for them, or they wouldn't keep releasing this stuff at those prices... And eh, that's not some kind of veiled dig at anyone who does buy this kind of thing, if you can afford it, spend it on whatever makes you happy

Yeah I was reading a few of the comments. Most of them complaining that its recycled content, while true we are getting a revamped skin and some items people might not have access too. This is appealing to newer players as they get a nice amount of content. But I do have to say that $120 at full price is a bit steep. I’d say $80 is more reasonable.

As they should. They've given away all but one of the uniforms at one point or another, and anything other than T6 ships are all but useless since they released scaling ships. This is pretty much a cash grab in time for the Picard release later this month.

I can GUARANTEE that a T6 Heavy Cruiser ends up with hanger pets....that model has at least 6 hanger bays on it going off the numbers on the outer doors.
We hardly need yet another boring half-carrier cruiser ship for the Feds. Pretty uninspiring now tbh...

Of the 11 items I already own 8, without a discounted price for items already owned, it’s a definite pass from me.

Umm, I'm a little concerned with this bundle. I'm all for TNG stuff, but I have everything in this bundle bar the Miradon T6 ship. It they were updating the Galaxy class model, I would of thought this would be a great incentive to add it with this bundle.

I made a comment in twitter to Thomas Maronie, and I asked if the Galaxy class revamp that was teased last year, was part of something else and possibly a variant and he replied saying "No, your making assumptions! No Galaxy class update with this bundle!"

I'm now wondering if the teaser was nothing related to STO at all now.

Yes of course and I respect that. Maybe I'm just a little impatient not knowing what's coming around the corner, and I was looking forward to a new Galaxy class ship.

Seems like a lackluster package. Mostly content that has been around for years, no "must have" traits or consoles, and a lot of longer term players have probably picked up a lot of this already over time anyway. I'll pass and hopefully this is just a teaser until they can start adding swag from the new series once the series is released for streaming. Now to convince my wife to pick up a CBS All Access subscription....

IMO there's not enough value for that price, certainly not 12k zen & still not at 6k zen. I think Cryptic is relying on an emotional reaction purchase on this bundle. When Cryptic adds older content to a bundle trying to give it value Cryptic shouldn't be surprised when getting called-out on it then when players already have that older content with no discount.

If that Picard "Privateer" uniform is the one from the trailer then that is brand-new & cool & I've never heard anything bad about that Miradorn ship, but I've never heard anything great about it neither nor do I see many being piloted about. Otherwise, isn't half of the itemized bundle uniforms?

Decent to good idea for the bundle but not the best thought-out execution with the content & pricing.
