I swear that sounds like Gul Dukat A.K.A Marc Alaimo but im not sure if its the little audio filters/tweaks that are giving me doubts

Hmm. Dont think its Dukat.. Dont recall cardassians doing logs on requests, but maybe its something else he is doing from other "timeline" since so much of that going on...

Does sound alittle like him. But the way he speaks makes me unsure.

to me, it sounds like it is from TOS... the voice is familiar, but I can't place it...………………..yet......lol

I’m with you on this one. The voice suggests someone of historical significance in the Trek-verse. It doesn’t sound like Alaimo/Dukat to me, although I could be wrong, it’s [deliberately] very distorted.

While it sounds a bit like he used to, his voice these days is a bit more husky and softer, so I don't know. We'll see, but it's looking like it's him on the face of things.

EDIT: Here's a thought for some wild speculation - the measure of autonomy remark. What if it's Pike free to act again and the voice is Anson Mount?

There's a theory being mentioned on Reddit that they're going to use it as a reset button to rejig the timeline to match up with Picard.

That....does not Surprise me. Given CBS does have say over what can and can't be in STO, and many actors have reprised their actual characters in game, would not Surprise me if CBS asked for the alteration, IF this does turn out to be the case that is.

But how would that even work, Picard is leading to the future of Discovery...which means The Federation is in decay...if the Federation chose to be isolationist in STO's timeline then that likely means there would be no Romulan Republic...may have very well lost to the Iconians...or Borg...or Undine...so many fights would be lost if the Federation didn't ally with the Klingons, Romulans, Dominion, and all the many other smaller alliances.

Picard/Discovery future is just incompatible with STO...
