I am curious about this though, given that the Anni Ship has a antiproton leaning console, makes me think that:
A.) Antiproton may be getting some Love in the Future
B.) This may be Cryptic's way of explaining the origins of the Temporal Defense initiative, possibly setting up a future recruitment event.

I actually could see this new AFS becoming a new starting point as well so that new players can just jump into becoming a Captain right away, and not worry about what comes previously. Just make the older missions like how the Jem'Hadar do, and boom.

Not like they do that much now anyways...I mean we've seen what...2 new Klingon designs in the last few years and the rest have all been Discovery ships. I mean while the Fed Discovery ships all get 25th century designs not a single Klingon Discovery ship has.

Romulans and JH have gotten even less attention.

Lets face it, the only way were getting new ships for Klingons or Romulans is if one of the new shows announced is based around Klingons or we see a bunch of new romulan ships in picard, the latter seems more likely.

Pretty much...I mean it took them like a year and a half to even launch the JH Vet ship, odds of getting a new ship that isn't Fed or locked behind RNG are almost 0.
