Indeed, it's probably the only reason I've managed to stick it out haha. I'm dreading this weekend as I wrote a letter complaining about things to my manager last week >.<

Well if no one minds reviving an interesting topic, I'm not a big fan of my current job as a truck driver, but the financial gains while getting my college degree completed outweigh the dislike level . Upon graduating in December, I'm first going to be looking at the US Navy, in an IT officer position. Another choice maybe going back to my favorite US state of Florida and getting a cushy IT job that will pay a lot more, but may not be as interesting .

On the school front, I love my college, it's allowed me to fully take the program online, which is very good because I've moved to different parts of my country since I started the program in 2016.

I also like languages, in grade school I took Spanish for 4 years and French for 2 years, most of the Spanish has stuck with me, but I would be fascinated to learn German . Glad you like school Emmy! Have you had any type of job yet?

And speaking of job. I don't have a job yet but in August I start an apprenticeship as a social insurance clerk in a company health insurance fund

As to the job - it pays the bills. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm totally indifferent to it.

For the most part I like my job. Like everything in life, there are good days and bad days, but the good usually outweighs the bad. Growing up, my Dad told me, "If you do not like what you're doing, it's not worth what they're paying you." I took that advice, which is probably why I am not in a high-paying position. That being said, it's been a heck of a ride to this point and I'm not finished just yet.

I enjoyed college, and at the moment I'm a jack of all trades wich keeps it really interesting.

My jobs got its days, most are good, I work in a secure psychiatric hospital and it can be a challenge but I like a challenge.

It's amazing when I see some very ill men and women make a recovery and return to the community, its awesome!

However days in which they do test your patience to the limit, threaten to kill you, hurt you and more than I could ever post online it can test you to the limit. Like today when I was assaulted in work by a service user, really dampens my enjoyment of the job.

But that's the risks I take working with mentaly ill service users, but when I see them recover, that makes it worth it.

That’s awesome. I recently, well about a year ago, left aerospace were I did Cybersecurity and went to a public (county level) agency to do the same.

Love the job though they are very different. Light and Dark different. Love working for the public and can’t believe I stayed in aerospace for as long as I did.

I run my own company restoring classic cars. Don't fall for the whole "whoa that sound so awesome!" thing, yeah it does, but it's HARD and DIRTY work. Most people only see the end result. Some days I come home literally covered from head to toe in 50 year old under-seal or fibreglass dust.

Currently working on a 1969 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce 2000 from South Africa and if someone mentions the wiring loom I curl up in the corner crying and sucking my thumb. Italian wiring.. oh dear god.. dear god no..

I love working for myself but to say it's hard work is the understatement of the century. That's the main reason I'm only in STO most days for maybe an hour or two at the most. That's all the time I have.
