    Gotta say that I'm personally still looking forward to it! I'm pretty sure that I'll watch anything on TV with the name "Star Trek" in it.

    Looking forward to it.
    I just hope they don't spend the first half of the season following Burnham trying to get back to the Discovery while ignoring the ship and everyone on it. I don't dislike her like many seem to or buy the mary sue accusations, but I can't argue with the fact she's been focused on far too much at the expense of what's supposed to b an ensemble. Hell the season 2 plot was mostly her fault in an "only she can save the day" sorta way.

    I'd agree for a series that focuses on a ship, there's been far too much focus solely on Burnham and not enough on the rest of the cast. Saru particularly shows there's room for other characters to appear front and centre and the introduction of Captain Pike in S2 bought the show some much needed relief on that front.

    At least 1 S3 trailer seems to imply that Burnham will once again be the solution to everyone's problems, despite the fact that from the perspective of history, she's been dead for over 900 years, so we'll need to wait and see if they remember the ensemble approach.
