AlexRider
- Meritorious Service Medal
- Valor Award
- Captain
First out of the docks tonight is a member eager to grab a role with both hands and get right into the task at hand. Originally starting out as an RSO, he subsequently rose to become the Recruitment Coordinator for SFA. Having already shown dedication before, this continued in his current role, seeking ways to improve and develop our recruitment operations while at the same time keeping the ship steady. Always available to those that need him and giving his time and help freely, he’s equally there for new members with a friendly greeting and to help them find their way. AlexRider has continued to grow since becoming the coordinator, handling the logistics of the role exceptionally well, allowing the process to be tweaked and adjusted as needed in a timely manner, with several of his thoughts and ideas adopted into SFA to improve the experience for everyone involved. It’s for these reasons that AlexRider is awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Valor Award and a promotion to Captain.
Arno12

An active participant on the forums and elsewhere, Arno12 has been with the community now for almost 3 and a half years. A friendly chap to chat to and found in a number of games including STO and Fallout 76, he’s never too far away from home. Bill
The closest thing the UFP has to Morgan Freeman - as anyone who has heard him on Teamspeak will attest to - his dulcet tones giving off both an air of authority and a calming influence, to the point where he could be insulting you and you’d actually thank him for it without losing your temper or even raising an eyebrow in the fashion of Roger Moore, never mind Spock. A long standing member of the UFP having recently passed the 9 year mark, Bill was and still is in charge of External Operations, liaising with our Armada partners and dealing with any issues that arise. Though his office recently changed as he departed FAB and merged into the STO division, his role and dedication to it remain unaltered. While Bill completed his medal bar some years ago, in recognition and in thanks to his service over the years, he is awarded this commendation.

For his friendship and helpfulness to WoW thus far, he’s awarded the Combat Readiness Medal.

His interactions with the community at large since he first arrived have been exemplary, with stories to share and tell and new ones to learn. Though no longer a volunteer, he maintains the same dedication and enthusiasm he had with his roles and the UFP is a richer place for it, with members fully appreciating his efforts. Always a joy to engage in discussions and with a high level of activity, for his service to date Taku is awarded with the Federation Order of Distinction and the Golden Starburst
This second and final commendation is a person who has already been mentioned tonight. Though perhaps considered by some to be one of the more grumpy members when he appears on Teamspeak, don’t be fooled by the facade, this person is in fact extremely helpful and dedicated to the community, often found in a multitude of threads and topics. His attention to detail, even after departing the volunteer roles he held is nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve already given them medals tonight, but it’s felt that just that little extra was needed, hence Taku is also awarded this commendation.
