An active member on TeamSpeak, this person originally joined as a guest of the community as part of the World of Warcraft efforts and remained that way for some time before they finally decided to don the uniform and join the community formally. Fun to be around, always engaging with people and showing themselves to be willing to take part, our first award of the evening goes to Beessie, who earns the Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Petty Officer 3rd Class.

Conduct Medal

A relatively new member of the UFP having been here for almost 7 months now, BravoKiloOne has dived in with a keen interest in STO builds and presenting them for discussion alongside tips and tricks to help adapt and improve them. It’s for these reasons that BravoKiloOne is awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal.

Most often found in Star Trek Online contributing to the discussions happening there in a polite and respectful manner, Buckaroo is the closest thing the UFP has to Harry Kim as he’s been here now 8 years and is still an Ensign. Therefore the time has come to award his service and he’s given the Conduct Medal and a promotion to Lt. Junior Grade.

The former SFA XO and now the Holodeck CO, Chris Wilkinson has been a long standing member of the community that has proved his commitment to the UFP time and time again. Friendly, active and always willing to put forward suggestions for improvement and solutions for issues that arise, he has taken to his new role admirably, hosting events and introducing new players to games. On top of of all this he even finds the time to submit articles to FNS, proving himself a man of many talents. It’s for these reasons that Chris Wilkinson is awarded the Medal of Excellence and a promotion to Vice Admiral.

We enter the final straight tonight with a name that’s already been mentioned earlier. Having proven themselves time and time again, they will no doubt continue this journey into the future. Rising through the ranks and being a huge, solid asset to any division lucky enough to have him on staff, their insight, dedication and hard work has served them well. Though already earning several awards tonight, it’s felt that a little extra cherry on top was also warranted in recognition of their efforts, which is why the first commendation this evening goes to Chris Wilkinson.

A member of the STO staff, this person consistently and reliably contributes to the fleet management by making sure new projects are slotted into the fleets on a regular basis, serving as one of the STO Quartermasters. For his time and service to the community to date, being just 2 days shy of 5 years with us, Darthnovawave is awarded with the Legion of Merit, Valor Award and a promotion to Captain.

Commander

Though a busy man in real life, often relying on hotel wifi and presumably McDonalds and Starbucks efforts too, the fact they spend a lot of time on the road does not mean they’ve not got time for the UFP as they make every effort to attend the Special Operation Saturdays in STO. Willing to help however he can and offering up his knowledge freely, he maintains a positive attitude and provides a friendly influence over the ops. For these reasons, Hektu is awarded with a promotion to Commander.

One of the Aussie members of the community and as such, usually asleep while the rest of us are awake, he’s a regular on the Discord server, always willing to chat with anyone who's around,offering his help to fellow members both in the community and personally. Serving as a member of the Holodeck staff, he does his best to field queries and questions that may arise from members across a wide variety of titles. It’s for these reasons that Heyallo is awarded with the Valor Award and a promotion to Captain.

Jestersmith

A frequently seen and felt presence in Star Trek Online and across the UFP in general, Jestersmith takes a hands-on approach and goes from strength to strength in his role as SFO XO alongside his regular chats and discussions with the various community members. Never far away from the UFP, it’s for these reasons that Jestersmith is awarded with a promotion to Vice Admiral.

For the record, his name has been typed and spelt correctly this time, so let us hope that sticks through to the pronunciation too. Kiflin, since rejoining the community, has assumed roles in SFA and Ares, actively welcoming members and maintaining a high level of activity overall. A hard worker in both departments, he leads by example and it’s for these reasons that he is awarded with the Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Lt. Commander.

KingTernel
Received a Medal

Starfleet Medal

Though a relatively new member having appeared just last month, KingTernel has jumped straight into the Ares RP with both feet and hit the ground running. Taking part in the stories, he has also stepped up as member of the volunteer staff for the department to help push and progress the simulation along. For these reasons, KingTernal is awarded with the Starfleet Medal.

Received a Promotion

Petty Officer 2nd Class

A member now for just over a year with the UFP, Kroonect is a quieter member on the forums at large, but can be found engaging in discussions within the STO divisions and his fellow players. In recognition of this, he becomes our second enlisted promotion of the evening, moving up to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Lazereth
Received a Commendation

Commendation

Our second commendation goes to a long standing member who is actually serving for the second time in his department, having previously vacated the position before returning a couple of years down the line. Though much of what this person does happens behind the scenes, the sheer amount of work they’ve carried out to keep the community and its members safe from prying eyes and the more unscrupulous elements of the Internet cannot be overstated. Though he will be standing down from this role again in the coming months, he’ll make sure we all remain in safe hands going forwards. Therefore, our final award of the evening goes to Lazereth.

Combat Readiness Medal

A long term participant of the Ares roleplay to the point that he could be considered part of the furniture, LogicalLeopard has proven himself to be an active writer and player within the project, including in the new Taskforce Phoenix chapter, with a level of activity both past and present that will no doubt stretch into the future. For these reasons, he’s awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal.

Consistently running the Friday Red Alert Special Operations Events, this member not only involves the older members, but has also welcomed new players into the fold as well. Because of his attitude of leadership, these new and old members also players often return for future events as they appear. Willing to help someone as much as they need, he’s become something of an anchor to those in STO, always having time for those who need it. For all these reasons, Miles is awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross, Fleet Admiral’s Cross and a promotion to Commodore.

A frequent hoster of STO events and recently appointed as a technical engineer, this member knows how to lead and how to delegate. Always willing to help out and fill in or even sit out if needed for others, they have proven themselves as a source that others can reach out to for guidance, advice or tips and tricks. A member who wears many hats, it’s for all those reasons that Pedigo is awarded with the Red Crest and the Starfleet Medal.

Here now for just shy of a year and while they keep a low profile on the forums, Petr has become a regular face inside STO, attending weekly events and joining in with the fun. For that reason, he’s awarded with the Conduct Medal.

Putting in a huge amount of effort with the Star Trek Online Special Forces, this member shows his commitment and hard work every time he joins a team, be it as a member or the leader. And while we’re told he likes to earn promotions, on this occasion we’ll have to disappoint him because Phoenix is on this occasion awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross.

Another newer member of the community, this person has shown a keen interest in becoming part of the UFP and can be seen across various discussions or simply wishing someone a happy birthday. Jumping straight into the volunteer ranks with Ares, time will tell what path they will make for themselves. For these reasons, Quackers is awarded with the Conduct Medal and the Starfleet Medal.

Found in various corners of the community, this member has been seen engaging in topics from all walks of life and showing an interest in what people think and have to say. In recognition of his activity and to acknowledge the time he’s spent here over the years, Sentinel is awarded with a promotion to Lt. Commander.

Commodore

Previously a member of the STO Special Operations, Solace has taken a step back in previous months to focus on signature requests for the membership under the FAB banner. His fast and efficient reaction to requests in this area show him to be active and dedicated to his role. For these reasons, Solace is awarded with a promotion to Commodore.

Now here for just over a year, StarTrails can often be found lurking around the STO forums, jumping into the various discussions as they arise. In recognition of his time here to date, StarTrails is awarded with a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

A hard worker in the Academy who brings the community spirit to new members and his team alike, he goes above and beyond his duties to promote the UFP. Always ready to congratulate members and assist those who have just joined, he has also put forward his ideas and comments for improvement to help maintain the smooth running of SFA. It’s for these reasons that Sunfire is awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross, Fleet Loyalty Commendation and a promotion to Captain.

Though not holding a volunteer position like he used to, this member nevertheless still reaches out to help and remains a highly active presence on the forums with a good sense of humour, becoming known as the “patch notes guy” for his continued posting as they become available for STO. It’s for these reasons that Taku is awarded with a promotion to Vice Admiral.

Still having not fallen down and robbing us of the opportunity to yell Timver in the name of bad puns everywhere, Timverbesselt continues to go from strength to strength. Currently serving as the acting Recruitment Coordinator amongst other roles, he approaches his tasks with care and attention, assisting everyone in carrying out their responsibilities. For his hard work and dedication to date, Timverbesselt is awarded with the Meritorious Service Medal and the Valor Award.

The last member this evening on the medal table is another relatively new addition to the community. Maintaining a high level of activity across multiple discussions, they also participate regularly ingame both in chat and events. It’s for these reasons that WhiteMountain65 is awarded with the Starfleet Medal and a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class.
