Received a Promotion

This evening kicks off with a returning member who comes back into the fold after an absence. Showing a keen interest and contributing to discussions, they’ve already compiled a few medals under their belts and to mark their return, Arlu3n is awarded a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Beessie
Received a Promotion and a Medal

• Starfleet Medal
• Petty Officer 2nd Class

Though not often found on the forums, this member is a regular visitor to the UFP Teamspeak, taking part in a variety of games and maintaining a high level of activity while there. With a positive attitude and jokes in hand, she brightens up the members lounge and it’s for these reasons that Beessie is awarded the Starfleet Medal and a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Brunocsf
Received a Medal

• Valor Award

Having passed the 1 year mark with the community recently, this next member volunteers with STO as a personnel officer, carrying out their role with efficiency and a strong commitment to inviting people to the fleets. Often found in a virtual filing cabinet of sorts, Brunocsf continued efforts see him awarded with the Valor award.

This member is another STO volunteer, but this time it’s the Quartermasters front and centre. Day in and day out, they queue up the fleet projects to provide progress to the fleets with a commitment and dedication to seeing the ongoing task continuing without a hitch. It’s for these reasons that Darthnovawave is awarded with the Meritorious Service Medal and he also joins the Admiralty with a promotion to Commodore.

Received a Promotion

• Lieutenant

A regular attendee of the various STO events, this member has demonstrated much advancement as both a player and member of the UFP. Equally happy to lend his help and knowledge to others as he is to play, Distant Knight is awarded with a promotion to Lieutenant.

GriffinTalon
Received a Promotion and 2 Medals

• Lieutenant Junior Grade

This award will see our first triple burstfire of the evening, but will it be the last? This person has a friendly attitude towards all members, attending events and doling out his knowledge in the variety of titles he finds himself in, helping those that need a few pointers along the way. For these reasons, GriffinTalon is awarded with the Conduct Medal, Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Lt. Junior Grade.

Hektu
Received a Promotion, a Medal and a Commendation

• Captain
• Commendation

One of the STO Special Ops Commanders, this individual has proven themselves to be dedicated to the community, leading events and often filling in for others when needed. Though a busy person back in reality, their attendance and efforts to ensure things run efficiently is commendable to say the least and in recognition of this, Hektu is awarded with the Medal of Excellence and a promotion to Captain.

As it seems to be have been a theme in the last few UFPAC’s, this one is going to be no different either as the first commendation of the evening is a name previously heard tonight. While Hektu has received a medal and promotion this evening, the dedication and effort he brings to the table with organising and participating in events, an impressive feat given that he spends a lot of his time on the road away from home, it means that he’s deserving of just that little bit extra this time around, which is why this Commendation is also being awarded to him.

Heyallo

• Federation Order of Distinction

Though this member resides in a timezone that many in the UFP are far removed from, they make every effort to attend events when they’re active and has a presence in multiple titles across the Holodeck. While he cannot always host events due to the time differences, his friendly, upbeat and jovial attitude towards the community means he’s never far away from the community spirit. For these reasons, Heyallo is awarded with the Federation Order of Distinction.

A 9 year veteran of the UFP who has jumped back after a long break to rejoin the ranks of the community and its presence in STO, he has made himself an active member and made efforts to support others alongside that. This has not gone unnoticed and for that reason, Jammers195 is awarded with the Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Lt. Junior Grade.

Jestersmith
Received a Promotion

• Admiral

Staying with the STO division, our next recipient tonight has shown themselves on more than one occasion to be more than capable of handling the role they took on. A highly visible and capable volunteer in the UFP, his service to date has been exemplary and also assisted in drawing people into the game during a period where interest seemed to be wavering, alongside revitalising those who were already present. Therefore, it’s time for Jestersmith to earn his 4th pip with a promotion to Admiral.

Kiflin
Received 2 Medals

• Fleet Loyalty Commendation

A member of both SFA and Ares who maintains a high level of activity, this member is friendly and helpful to everyone he encounters and demonstrates himself as the embodiment of the principles held by the Recruit Support Officers. Carrying out his duties with care and attention, Kiflin is a shining example of the Academy staff and the community itself. For these reasons, he’s awarded with the Federation Star and the Fleet Loyalty Commendation.

Found across the community, our next member can be often seen wishing people a happy birthday or congratulations. A smile and a compliment can go a long way to brightening someone’s day and it’s for this reason Labicoms is awarded the Conduct Medal.

Miles
Received a Promotion, a Medal and a Commendation

• Commendation

Excelling at making members welcome and what else events have to offer, Miles has been ever present at Friday and Saturday night events in STO, a number of which he also functions as the host, keeping things fresh and exciting as the weeks roll along, injecting new ideas and themes to hold people’s interest and this why he’s awarded with the Federation Order of Distinction and a promotion to Rear Admiral.

And the night ends with our final stop at Commendation number 2, but the theme continues as again, this person has been mentioned already. They too received a medal and promotion, however they are on hand every week to help with and host events, sometimes with a twist to make things that little bit more challenging or simply different from the norm. Always trying to make people laugh and dedicated to his role, Miles draws the awards to a close with his Commendation.

As fleet members head out into space, someone has to do the job of holding the fort back at Spacedock to ensure ships can depart and the facilities are there to support them. The Logistical life of a Quartermaster isn’t always glamorous one, but it is an important one and this is where this person shines, keeping projects and the fleet updated as to where things are sitting. This is why MrNeal is awarded the Conduct Medal and the Personal Achievement Award.

The newest addition to the UFP’s technical staff, having been recently appointed as the FEO Deputy Head of Technical services, Pedigo has taken to the role like a duck to water. A number of changes under the bonnet, some visible, others not, have already taken place and ideas for other projects are brewing in the background. For his dedication to his new role, he is awarded with the Fleet Loyalty Commendation and the Golden Starburst.

A long term member who will reach their 10 year anniversary later this year and recently returned to active duty, joining in with the Special Operations events and sometimes acting as a fill-in host when others were unavailable to attend. Always willing to help out and without complaint, helping and assisting others as often as he can, he’s quickly proving himself to be a valuable asset to the STO Division, having taken on a Special Ops Commander role but also to the community as a whole. Rastilion is therefore awarded with the Conduct Medal, Starfleet Medal and a promotion to Lt. Commander.

Raz Beraht
Received a Promotion

• Chief Petty Officer

An 11 year veteran who will often pop his head into Star Trek Online discussions, this member has a long history with the UFP and it’s recognition of his time here that Raz Beraht is awarded with a promotion to Chief Petty Officer.

Silek
Received a Medal

• Federation Order of Merit

Having assumed the role of FNS CO some while ago, Silek works hard to keep the service running and ensure a stream of articles appear for the membership each week. Having kept the ship steady whilst also maintaining a high standard of quality, Silek is awarded with the Federation Order of Merit.

Solace
Received a Promotion

• Rear Admiral

Another longer term member who will reach their 10th Anniversary with the UFP later this year, they’ve taken on the FAB task of processing signature requests for the various members across the forums. Solace will often be found handing out one signature after the next and keeping the steady flow of requests and changes moving. For his service, he is awarded a promotion to Rear Admiral.

Sorotia

• Lieutenant Commander

An active member of the UFP across various divisions and discussions, they also take part in the ingame fleets on a regular basis. In recognition of their time and effort with the community to date, Sorotia is awarded the Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Lt. Commander.

Sunfire

• Valor Award

The newest member of Starfleet Command as the new XO of the Academy, Sunfire has hit the ground running and dove straight into his role with enthusiasm, continuing and expanding upon the work he carried out previously as an RSO. Active in promoting the UFP outside the forums, he also puts out his ideas here at home to assist with the tasks of welcoming new folks to the community, all while keeping a watchful eye over the day to day dealings of SFA. So get ready for an incoming pew-pew-pew, as Sunfire is awarded with the Federation Order of Distinction, the Federation Order of Merit and the Valor award.

Tbang
Received a Medal

Despite having been with us now for only 3 months, TBang has shown a keen interest in the STO section of the UFP, having also been a recent player to the game. Engaging with others in a polite and respectful manner and keen to learn from those with more STO experience to improve their own builds, TBang is proving to be a fine addition to the fleets and is therefore awarded the Conduct Medal.

We’ve decided to cut down the tree related puns this time for our next member.
Timverbesselt volunteers as a personnel officer and was recently appointed the new Recruitment Coordinator for SFA having been acting up in the position for a time, performing both roles with dedication and skill. A hard worker always showing a willingness to help out where he can, his efforts to date have not gone unseen or unrecognised and tonight he adds to his medal bar with the Fleet Loyalty Commendation and a promotion to Commander.

A relatively newer member of the UFP, this person has become a regular attendee of STO events, showing an eagerness to learn and listening to tips, tricks and suggestions to help improve his knowledge and technique and is also extremely welcoming to new members too. For these reasons. Trekchu is awarded with the Medal of Excellence and a promotion to Petty Officer 1st Class.

Our next member is another who can be found handing out congratulatory and birthday messages to the community. For his pleasant demeanour and efforts to brighten up others days and accomplishments, Trekster is awarded with the Conduct Medal and a promotion to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

A near constant fixture on the UFP Teamspeak as well as the forums and ingame, this member regularly attends events, welcoming new and old members alike alongside him. Though a newish member, he probably eats a healthier diet than many of us, often posting up his Keto recipes which have become a staple of not only his diet, but his interaction with the membership. For these reasons, Whitemountain65 is awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal & a promotion to Petty Officer 1st Class.

Our final person this evening goes to another longer term member who’s shown a happiness to be part of the community, wearing the name with pride in STO and proving themselves to be an incredibly pleasant individual to chat with. It’s for these reasons that we round out the medal table with Xavier Knight, who is awarded the Conduct Medal and a long overdue promotion to Senior Chief Petty Officer.
