Sorry for the delay, I've been busy, and a bit absent in the brain department for the past few weeks! In the third place match, the Thunderchild ran away with it, 12 - 1 against the Discovery! I have also delayed this following the passing of Nichelle Nichols, that thread is now pinned here. Now though, the final match of our ship showdown, it's the mighty U.S.S. Enterprise (Sovereign) going up against the agile U.S.S. Voyager! We shall give this a three day vote!

Raw firepower? Mostly likely the Enterprise (without Worf) at tactical. With Worf at tactical they'd stand a much higher chance.

However I would say if Voyager had Tuvok at tactical and Tom at the helm, Voyager would run circles around the Enterprise at impulse speeds.

With normal crews, Enterprise E would be my choice. With all the legendary officers who might be on the ships, almost anything could happen.

Despite the Enterprise being made a bit of a kicking post in Insurrection and Nemesis, she's a Sovereign class and it seems quite clear that despite being sent out to explore and pursue peaceful relations, the Sovereigns will curb stomp you if they have to.

I'd have to agree with Mentioned User Petrarch here. Even if Voyager was a full Bellerophon class, she'd still be woefully outgunned. Evasiveness, however, does have some standing here, but overall, the Sovereign class is the true "multi-mission" ship here.

How well is a Sovereign Class going to do against spammed Grabbity Wells?

Science ships are WAY overpowered even against a big gunboat cruiser like the Sov.

For that reason, I am going to buck the trend and hand it to Voyager.

Janeway's shtick was always outwitting the Borg, which was one of the Enterprise crew's specialties too. Voyager routinely got slapped down by other advanced races too, so while we don't have other direct examples of opponents to compare (except maybe Ferengi, but are they really a fearsome opponent?), I'd say the crews are a bit more evenly matched (and Enterprise is far more liberal when it comes to crew promotions).

Wasn't Janeway a science officer before becoming a captain? Voyager also has Seven who has the Borg know how which makes two science officers more than Enterprise has as part of her main cast.

I'm a little hazy on this but didn't Voyager carry tricobalt devices at the start of the show? I wonder if they were a match for the Quantums that Enterprise carried?

The EMH is also the ECH. A dual class MED/ Command TAC.
Seven is a Temporal SCI/ENG.
Chakotay is a Command SCI/TAC
Janeway is a Command SCI/TAC.
Neelix is a Pilot OPS.
Tom Paris is a Pilot TAC.
Tuvok is a Vulcan Command TAC.
And B'Elana is a Miracle Worker ENG.

Give me that ship, please.
