This evening’s awards kick off with a member who first pulled into port about 3 years ago and their friendly outgoing attitude quickly got them noticed. Eager to help when and where he can, currently serving in SFA and FNS, AlexRider has quickly made a name for himself and a lasting impression on others, which in why in recognition of his dedication and service, he’s awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross.

Next up, this person may not always be seen on the forums but they’re chatting away regularly on TeamSpeak, as well as being a pokemon addict and Warcraft raider, so they have their toes in many pools. Often found in a variety of other titles both on the PC and the consoles, they’ve proven themselves to be an excellent all round member over the last few years and it’s for these reasons Beessie is awarded with the Medal of Excellence and a promotion to Petty Officer 1st Class.

This member has been with us for roughly 2 years now but feels as though it has been longer. Though one of the quieter members of the community, their dedication and service to the UFP has not gone unnoticed at large, with their efficient, professional demeanour and knowledge in their role as a Personnel Officer for STO. Darting around in the background processing invites, Brunocsf has shown what he’s capable off quite early in his UFP career and it’s for these reasons he’s awarded with the Federation Star, Personal Achievement Award and a promotion to Lt. Commander.

A member who busies themselves in Star Trek Online as one of the behind the scenes workers that keeps tabs on projects, invites and keeping the fleet banks in orders, their admin knowledge is matched also by their game knowledge which they share out, making them a walking reference card too of sorts. His beavering away is another cog that keeps the gears turning for everyone and leaves a good impression in his wake by those who encounter him. That’s why Darthnovawave is awarded with the Fleet Loyalty Commendation, the Nebula Star & the Red Crest.

A regular attendee of weekend events on Star Trek Online, this member regularly and generously dishes out heaps of build advice and helps out where he can with gear and supplies to other members. He does a lot of this behind the scenes, doing his best so others can enjoy themselves, develop and improve their skills. Frequently giving out tactics and advice during mission runs, Distant Knight keeps the team together for everyone to accomplish their goals. For his help to others and dedication to the fleet, he’s awarded with the Red Crest and a promotion to Commander.

Another quieter member of the community that can be found in The Old Republic, tirelessly working away at the Conquest system and chatting as others appear, his presence there is invaluable as TOR is one of our more under represented games. His pleasant attitude and level of activity have earned him recognition and so Foster is awarded the Conduct Medal, Starfleet Medal and a promotion to Petty Officer 1st Class.

Next tonight, this person, while serving as a Special Ops Commander in STO has particularly stood out during events. Helping old and new players alike, be it with gear or advice, it’s all freely given out by him. Going above and beyond in his efforts, he’s always showing a willingness to help, be it either at the forefront of a run or in a supporting role. Hektu will do his best to make things happen and it’s for these reasons, he’s awarded with the Fleet Loyalty Commendation, the Nebula Star and the Red Crest.

One of the Holodeck volunteer staff, this member does their best to host events, even though the time difference between them and the majority of the UFP does not make this easy to go. They make up for this by hanging around in Discord and interacting with the various members in a friendly and pleasant manner. Though they may not have hosted as many events for meet ups as they’ve liked, their knowledge on various gaming titles is handed out for those playing, be it Pokemon, Elite Dangerous or anything in-between. It’s for these reasons that Heyallo is awarded a promotion to Commodore.

We’re back aboard Ares now with the CO, Kiflin. Though he inherited a daunting task, he took to it strongly and has made major strides in righting the ship after a turbulent couple of years. Actively working on new plotlines and story threads, he alongside his staff are crafting a new level of world detail and making every effort to keep participants and the members at large informed on the new developments for the division. While the Ares CO position is one of the more challenging roles, Kiflin spends all hours making things work and keeping people entertained. His efforts have been strongly noted as the months have gone past and that’s why he’s tonight awarded with the Federation Order of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal and a promotion to Rear Admiral.

Sticking aboard Ares for the moment, this person has been very spirited in his involvement with the project, feeling free to speak his mind and providing examples to back up his perspective on things with the story. Seeking to add a grounded sense of realism and a believability to the plotlines and characters involved in them to create a more balanced and detailed environment, his honesty and commitment ensure that anyone who takes part will quickly believe they’re standing on board the ship itself. This is why Krajin is awarded with the Golden Starburst and the Valour Award.

A veteran now of 11 years, our next individual is a streamer amongst the UFP, hosting their own show with a focus on Star Trek Online, promoting the game, the UFP, handing out giveaways and always remains friendly and approachable to every member. Ready to show off gameplay or start up a discussion, Kyuusaku’s efforts over the years finally sees him join the admiralty with a promotion to Commodore.

Our next stop tonight brings us to another Special Ops Commander, a person who gives it their all to their commitment in ensuring events get planned, organised and carried out for others. Having done an exemplary job in keeping these running and assisting in boosting coverage during quieter periods, he also has his finger on the pulse of STO news, often dropping in snippets of information of what’s going on. For his commitment and efforts, Miles is awarded with a promotion to Vice Admiral.

Another long time community member who also joined the decade club this year, they are a frequent appearance in STO and elsewhere, serving as a Special Ops Commander alongside dealing with invites and organising events. Dedicated, committed, friendly and also seen often in the Birthday threads, Morris tonight earns a 4th pip for his efforts with a promotion to the rank of Admiral.

Our next member tonight is well known within the community, spending a lot of time behind the scenes and under the bonnet as the Deputy Head of Technical Services, making sure the lights stay on, the wiring gets fixed and the engine keeps running, so while their work may not always be seen by everyone, it is always felt across the forums. Their assistance has proven invaluable in the months since they took up the role and Pedigo continues to go from strength to strength with no signs of slowing down. For his service and dedication to the community, he’s awarded with the Starfleet Cross and the Valour Award.

A member of the Special Ops team in STO, this person has proven themselves to be super dependable, not only attending but also leading Special Op Saturday events, but also attending the Red Alert Fridays. Always ready to help and offer up advice to new and old members alike, the gusto he shows during these is part of what makes their success continue with each passing week. Rastilion is therefore awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and a promotion to Captain.

Having taken on a newly established role of Correspondent within the Federation News Service, this member has hit the ground running and thrown themselves into the role. Bringing forward topic ideas to engage the community with polls, debates and other discussions alongside it, they’re just getting started and so far, it’s been a good one. For their efforts, RavenSplat is awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal and the Conduct Medal.

A long standing member of the community, weighing in at 7 years now, this member has shown their dedication over the years, currently serving in SFA and FAB as an RSO and forum moderator respectively. One of our quieter members but no less active behind the scenes, Redking353 gives his all in both his roles and it’s for those reasons he’s awarded with the Personal Achievement Award.

Perceived as an early riser of sorts, this member can often be seen around when many others are still asleep, working diligently to ensure the recruitment threads are where they should be. Holding several volunteer roles, they go above and beyond in each role to get the job at hand done. Communicating well and maintaining an active presence both in-game and on the forums, he’s an excellent example of the UFP volunteer staff, appearing almost every day to carry out his tasks yet not forgetting to have some fun along the way. From looking after new cadets to sorting fleet admin tasks, Remsus is a hard worker for the community and it’s for these reasons he’s awarded with the Federation Order of Merit, the Fleet Loyalty Commendation and a promotion to Captain.

A respectful and polite member in both his dealings and interest with the community, both of which have been superb over the years, this person has been here for over 4 years now and it’s time to finally give them an extra pip to add alongside their Ensign one. For his investment and interaction with the UFP, Ricwin is awarded with the Conduct Medal and a promotion to Lt. Junior Grade.

A long serving member of the UFP, marking a decade with the community earlier this year, they’ve done a lot of things and been a lot of places in that time, but they’re currently known for their sterling work as a member of the community graphics team, hand crafting the various signatures you see across the forums, alongside a new appointment as the acting CO of FNS. Highly active, his recent FNS work has seen him spur on the department and ramp it back up again after a quiet spell, putting forward ideas, suggestions and a plan for moving forwards to keep the momentum going. Solace is an old hand at the UFP and is now trying new things, but we’re sure he’ll quickly find his feet and carry on the service he’s so richly given to FAB with FNS. It’s for these reasons and in recognition of his time to date, that he is awarded a 4th pip with a promotion to Admiral.

A constant presence on the forums and in Star Trek Online, our next member has served in several volunteer roles with distinction including SFO and FAB, with his contributions and comments on the forums having proved helpful and invaluable to many members. A respected member of the community, he'll be making his ten years in 2023, so in recognition of his longevity, service and friendship to the UFP over the years, Sul-Matuul is welcomed to the admiralty with his award of a promotion to Commodore.

We’re going to stick with the admiralty here to make it 3 on the trot with our next member tonight. A hard worker both in recent months and since he joined the community, he keeps SFA ticking over and the team motivated in their day to day operations and he does all this despite a newly hectic real life. Ready with cake puns and trying to put a smile and laugh to faces, Sunfire is awarded with a promotion to Commodore. Welcome aboard!

Back with SFA for our penultimate award of the evening, this individual has thrown themselves into their role as the Recruitment Coordinator, showing a passion and commitment to the task at hand. Keeping everyone up to date with any changes and staying on top of the rota, he keeps his eyes open for ways to improve and increase efficiency to ensure a smooth journey as well as being helpful and friendly outside his role to many others. For all these efforts, Timverbesselt is awarded the Federation Order of Merit and a promotion to Captain.
