[Announcement] - FEO Reshuffle

Greetings,

The past couple of days have brought some discussion within FEO, as Saelanna felt it time to step down as Head of Community Administration, a role which she has served with great distinction, and a level head. I'm sure she will be posting here with her own comments, she has already briefed FEO, and FAB before hand, so volunteers in her department will have been expecting this news. I have been assured that she won't be a stranger, and will continue to frequent the UFP in her spare time.

This left a spot in the role of Head of Community Administration, for which I made the decision to contact KerryMalone to fetch him out of retirerment, and into the role. It's a difficult role in many ways, and he has a tough task ahead, as replacing Saelanna is not going to be easy! For full transparency, the reason to bring KerryMalone back into FEO was due to his past experience with FEO, his ability to work as a moderator under Saelanna within FAB, and the role being among the most important in the UFP.

Please join me in thanking Saelanna (as in banana) for her hard work in the UFP, and welcoming KerryMalone back to FEO!

Stepping down was not an easy decision to make, and it took me a few weeks to press send on my resignation, but a promotion in my RL job (and the subsequent increase in workload and stress) meant I had less time and energy to devote to the UFP. Coupled with my daughter going from primary to secondary school (and a new kitten) I realized that I had to make more time for the truly important things in life. I would never give this community less than 100% and when that was no longer possible, I knew it was time to step down. It's not goodbye, I still plan to be a [somewhat lesser] presence on the forums and I may reinstall STO or start playing SWTOR and LoTRO again.
