Greetings,

We attach an anonymous survey to the Roll Call for feedback, and views, the last survey had some very cutting, but reasonable feedback, we do not shy away from criticism, and given the changes this year thus far, you can see that it has been acted upon. We do not however have time for comments that have no basis in reality, or just have no actionable criticism and are just an attack.

I get that there may have been actions we have taken in the past that may not have been agreed with, but there comes a point where it's time to move on and not hold a grudge for what must be two years now. While we don't have any way, nor any intention to identify the individual, similar feedback has been left on the survey in the past, giving a clear pattern of behaviour. This statement will be the last on the matter, as in future, such comments will just be removed from the feedback, they aren't constructive.

Firstly, this comment left for FEO.

"only care about themselves"

Given how over the two years this individual has been leaving such feedback, the only member of FEO who has been in place for that time is me, the rest has changed, so many appointments, and resignations in that time. So to say FEO only care about themselves is such a bizarre statement to make. If you have an issue with how FEO is run, please do reach out, just like this forum post, we do our best to be transparent.

Secondly, this comment left for FAB.

"nazi racists"

This one is flat out insulting, and has no basis in reality, which I'm sure the person who wrote this knows. We have a zero tolorance policy on racism, and certainly Nazis, who are not welcome in the UFP. We have had to deal with racists in the past, and we have dealt with them quickly. FAB has also changed a lot in the two years as well, so again, this insult doesn't even make any sense to the grudge this person seems to hold.

Like I said before, this is the last I am going to say on the subject of feedback that is just insulting, feel free to vent in the survey feedback if you wish, just know that it will be deleted. Again, if you wish to provide negative constructive feedback, that's fine, but please avoid being insulting when doing so.

I will always stand up for the volunteers in this community, and I am offended on behalf of my collegues in FAB for that comment in particular, especially as calling Kerry, who is openly Jewish, a "nazi racist" is an anti-semitic comment, so if you would like to send an appology in that regard to Kerry in private, I'm sure he will take it on board, as you didn't think before making the comment.

Thes comments are horrible and totally unacceptable. The anonymity of the survey is a privilege and I can't believe people are taking advantage of this. While I assume this person doesn’t frequent the forums that much due to their comments I do hope they hear these comments and how all of us stand behind this decision to remove terrible comments such as these from having any platform within the UFP. Constructive critisism is useful these are only aimed to cause pain and I thank you for taking this stance Three.

I can't agree with you both more! There's always a place for constructive criticism, but the line is drawn at insults. If there's something you'd like to see improved, say what you think needs to be improved constructively and how it should be improved. Leave the insults out!

Wow, taking my XO hat off for a moment. This kind of behaviour is beyond deplorable and simply unacceptable, the feedback is there to provide constructive feedback. Whilst this kind of senseless trolling angers me, at the same time, I am comforted by the fact that opinions and behaviours such as these are isolated to an individual or insignificant minority. I am reassured that there are clearly more people here who are prepared to put themselves forward to help run this community of ours, who are happy to give up their time to create and grow things, rather than hide in the shadows of anonymity spitting bile and hate.

But also, I’m genuinely sad for the person who felt like they had no option but to post that. What a desperately sad and unfulfilling time you must be having here. I’ve no idea who you are, but if you’re feeling like you need someone to talk to, I’d be happy to listen.

When I saw there was a statement I didn't expect it to be something like this.

Honestly this person should make themselves known rather than hiding behind an anonymous survey if they feel that strongly.

Quite frankly the nazi comment is deplorable and if you feel like that, you should seriously consider your place here.

The FAB team do great work to keep our community safe and I've never seen them overreacting or being overly harsh or censoring.

FEO have a tough job which I honestly give them a lot of props for, especially given all the recent changes.
