Alpenglow
Received 3 Medals
- Personal Achievement Award
- Golden Starburst
- Red Crest
A well-known and respected member of the UFP Roleplay Division, Alpenglow has proven himself to be a true creative giant. Dedicating himself to building a better environment for the UFP’s dedicated roleplayers, both in and out of character–creating not only the greeting templates for new RP Division members, but also single-handedly writing the Cliffnotes, a summary of the Division’s main storyline, and assisting with the recruitment and retainment of new members for the RP Division. All the while, he provides that needed burst of energy and is a fountain of new ideas. For these reasons, he is awarded the Personal Achievement Award, the Golden Starburst, and the Red Crest. Congratulations!
Archer-Boi
Received a Medal
- Fleet Loyalty Commendation
The next awardee of the evening is one of the UFP’s feline personnel. Archer-Boi has been an excellent kitty recently, serving as the Fleet Admiral’s personal NCO assistant and in his duties as the Fleet Cat. For his loyal and courageous service at this very difficult task, he is presented with the Fleet Loyalty Commendation, Meow!
Arno12
Received a Medal
Arno12 has been a member of the UFP for over 6 years now. As a CL3 member, they are not in the limelight as often as some of the other members mentioned tonight but they are an active and welcome presence in the community. You will often find them spreading some birthday joy to others in the community and hanging around. For their active and engaging presence within the community, we are pleased to award Arno12 the Combat Readiness Medal. Congratulations
Gostlool
Received 3 Medals
- Legion of Merit
- Personal Achievement Award
- Starfleet Medal
The second member of the UFP Roleplay Division on today’s show, Gostlool is a recent addition to the CL5 roster, stepping up as the Executive Officer of the RP Division. Still, he seems to be an old hand at the roleplay itself, quickly solidifying a reputation for incredibly detailed and immersive posts. In this way, he has established himself as a guiding light for those within the RPD. Indeed, he scored high enough marks on his Simulation Test to see his character, Alexander O’Toole, graduate not to the usual position of Ensign, but straight to Lieutenant! For his tireless service, Gostlool is being awarded the Legion of Merit, the Personal Achievement Award, and the Starfleet Medal. Congratulations!
JByb04
Received a Medal
Our next award recipient is an old hand at the UFP, marking the 10-year anniversary earlier this year, JByb04 is a well-known and respected member of the community. You can often find them engaging with the discussions on the forums or supporting the many varied games we support. While a CL3 at the moment he has previously served as an Away Team leader back when he first joined. Now a recognised part of the furniture around the UFP and a common sight in events we are happy to award Jbyb04 with the Medal of Excellence. Congratulations
Jess
Received a Promotion and 2 Medals
- Admiral
- Distinguished Service Cross
- Legion of Merit
Next on the list is Jess, our Head of Technical Services. Where to begin? Since signing on to the role seven months ago, Jess has left an indelible mark on the UFP, allowing us to not only show our pronouns on our profiles, but also saving us countless hours of scrolling by adding the ‘back to top’ button, and making many other updates to the UFP’s website and technical services, be they large or small.
Beyond this, Jess has shown herself to be an endlessly positive and helpful presence in the UFP, always reachable either by forum PM or through Discord DM, and always up for a chat or quick answer to whatever question you might have. That doesn’t even mention the Technical Services Portal, which has grown to be a useful tool for fixing bugs and other issues with the UFP website. All in all, working with Jess is both a privilege and a treat. For her incredible work, Jess is being awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Legion of Merit, and a promotion to the honoured rank of Admiral. Congratulations, Admiral Jess!
Josh Broughm
Received a Promotion
We’re on a roll today for members of the UFP Roleplay Division. Josh Broughm is an old name in the UFP, truly one of the old guard, first joining all the way back in 2009. Since then, he has proven himself a valued member of the UFP in many ways, at some point serving as the Commanding Officer of the Ares Roleplay Project. Since then, he has once more return to roleplay, continuing to write in the Free Stories but also signing on as a Simulation Officer for the RPD, assisting new players with the process of creating a character and immersing themselves within them. For his valiant and long-tenured service, Josh Broughm is awarded a promotion to Vice Admiral. Congratulations, Vice Admiral Broughm!
Kammus
Received a Promotion and a Medal
- Lieutenant Junior Grade
- Conduct Medal
Our first awardee after the break is Kammus. A common sight in Discord, especially in the STO sections. Giving advice both on building ships and building a working version of STO to those users who enjoy Linux operating systems. They are also a new sight in the Roleplay Division currently taking their character Kammus Corelli through their Simulation Test. For their work in helping their fellow fleet members and their high level of activity Kammus is awarded the Conduct Medal and a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Congratulations
Kiflin
Received a Promotion and a Medal
- Admiral
- Fleet Admiral’s Cross
Next up is Kiflin the CO of the Roleplay Division, a department we keep coming across tonight. Kiflin has been unwavering in his commitment to his players and the stories they play within. Overseeing it as it both grew and rebranded, he has been instrumental in creating a strong staff team to support all roleplay activities within the UFP. A Veteran member of the UFP with just over 15 years, many of which with hard work across many different departments, Kiflin has become a central part of the UFP. For all his excellent hard work and his unwavering commitment to the UFP, we are happy to award Kiflin with the Fleet Admiral’s Cross and a promotion to Admiral. Congratulations Admiral Kiflin!
Koala
Received a Promotion and 2 Medals
- Lieutenant Commander
- Meritorious Service Medal
- Starfleet Medal
One of the UFP’s talented Discord Moderators, Koala has shown herself a positive and friendly member, consistently providing smooth communication with the UFP’s Discord, while remaining upbeat and maintaining a humorous attitude, which has quickly solidified her as a valued member of the Discord and the UFP as a whole. She has consistently worked to create a friendly and welcoming environment, quickly and efficiently handling whatever tasks may come her way, from assigning roles to moderating the myriad conversations in the Discord to helping members feel welcome. For these reasons, Koala is being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Starfleet Medal, and a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Well done!
Krajin
Received a Promotion and a Medal
- Master Chief Petty Officer of the Fleet
- Legion of Merit
A bit of exception to the trend in this UFPAC, while Krajin does not serve in a role within the Roleplay Command Team, he does serve in a command position: as Captain Thane, commanding officer of the USS Endeavour, NCC-71805, the main ship of the Roleplay Division’s primary story. And in this role, he has served admirably, taking on challenge after challenge as Captain Thane, and managing to create an enjoyable in-character environment–while expertly portraying the lovable fuzzball-with-claws that is his character. For these reasons, Krajin is being awarded with the Legion of Merit, and a promotion to Master Chief Petty Officer of the Fleet. Congratulations!
miagmagick
Received a Medal
Up until recently serving as both one of the UFP’s famed Discord Moderators and as a Personnel Officer for the Star Trek Online division, Miahmagick has repeatedly proven herself a quick and able learner, willing to pick up skills new and old and apply them to her benefit, and that of the UFP. In particular, she is renowned for her impressive and efficient tank builds with the STO Division. For these reasons, she is being rewarded with the Combat Readiness Medal - congratulations!
NightZombie
Received a Medal
Another member often seen with the STO Division, NightZombie is always a fixture at Special Operations events, always eager to have fun and improve his STO-playing skills. Particularly, he is ever eager to improve his build and is always happy to help others out or lend his vast knowledge of STO while he is hunting for the best equipment–which he isn’t shy about lending either if he isn’t using it himself! For these reasons, NightZombie is awarded the Legion of Merit. Well done!
Rastillion
Received 2 Medals and a Commendation
- Fleet Admiral’s Cross
- Nebula Star
- Commendation
What do they say? Third time’s the charm? So it seems tonight, anyway, with Rastillion: the third in a row to be affiliated with the STO Division, in which he serves as a Special Ops Commander. A long-tenured member of the UFP, having recently passed his twelfth anniversary, Rastillion has over his many years served the UFP with the utmost dedication, most notably in the STO Division where he currently serves, and in the Holodeck, constantly demonstrating a sense of leadership and commitment that goes above and beyond. He is perhaps best known for ensuring that no member of the UFP is left behind in whatever way that may take: from fostering cooperation, mentoring new members of the STO Division or those that take part in its events, or sharing tactical advice. For all this, Rastillion is awarded the Fleet Admiral’s Cross and the Nebula Star. Congratulations!
We are happy to present the first Commendation of the evening to Rastilion. Part of the STO team he is often attending and running events in STO. Helping to orchestrate and guide members through the recent shift from the STO Combat Meter to the Open Source Combat Reader ensuring everyone can continue to record their damage high scores. His colleagues find his constant dedication to the UFP and his offers of help across STO and Holodeck to be the true embodiment of what the Federation stands for, Unity, Cooperation and personal excellence. An extremely common sight on the discord contributing to the day-to-day atmosphere of the UFP and a sense of camaraderie among the Starfleet Officers there. For his unwavering dedication, his constant positive impact on the community and just generally being an all-around great person. We are happy to present Rastilion with a commendation, Congratulations.
Ravensplat
Received a Promotion and 2 Medals
- Vice Admiral
- Federation Order of Merit
- Nebula Star
What can one not say about RavenSplat? Juggling many roles at once and succeeding at all of them, they simultaneously serve as a Correspondent for the Federation News Service, the Lead Simulation Officer for the UFP Roleplay Division, a Technical Services Engineer for Technical Services, and now also as the Executive Officer of the UFPAC Production Team. In all of these roles, they have managed to shine. Leading the Interlude storyline and mentoring new Simulation Officers for the Roleplay Division, they have also worked tirelessly with Eaglesg to build the UFPAC Production Team from the ground up, all the while being pleasant to work with and lending a listening ear to all those who require it. Truly RavenSplat is an example for all the UFP’s membership: a kind-hearted, hard-working soul, never afraid of a challenge. For these reasons, RavenSplat is being rewarded with the Nebula Star, the Federation Order of Merit, and a promotion to the rank of Vice Admiral. Congratulations, Vice Admiral!
Remsus
Received a Promotion
Working multiple roles within the STO Division, Remsus is a familiar face to all involved with Star Trek Online, serving simultaneously as Quartermaster, Personnel Officer, and Special Ops Commander. Remsus works tirelessly to ensure the UFP’s myriad of fleets in STO are well-stocked and continue functioning, he also provides an entertaining atmosphere during the events he leads, while also handling the many invites to the UFP’s fleets on time, ensuring that new personnel continue streaming into Starfleet. For these reasons, Remsus is being awarded a promotion to the hallowed rank of Admiral. Congratulations!
Scott K
Received a Commendation
Our Second Commendation and last awardee for the night is a peculiar one. An important and well-respected member of the community but not one who we can give a medal to. That is because we are giving a commendation to Scott K. Scott is an extremely common and popular presence in the discord but has elected to remain as a Federation Citizen rather than enlisting in Starfleet. While one of few in this regard he is still an extremely welcome and dedicated part of the community. You don’t see a single discussion happen in the general chat in the discord without Scott at least popping his head in. So while we can’t give him a medal, we still want to recognise his strong and supporting presence within the community. So, to what I think would be most of the community's favourite CL1, we are very happy to award a Commendation to Scott K. Congratulations!
Sorotia
Received a Promotion and a Medal
- Commander
- Combat Readiness Medal
Our next awardee of the evening is Sorotia. A member who you will often see taking part in numerous threads and discussions about STO and many other threads across the community. Sorotia is an older member of the community, celebrating 9 years just before this award ceremony and we look forward to many more years of discussion and engagement from her. For her consistent presence and engaging additions, Sorotia is awarded the Combat Readiness Medal and a promotion to Commander. Congratulations
Stormy
Received a Promotion and a Medal
- Vice Admiral
- Federation Order of Distincition
Another veteran member of the UFP, first joining in 2011, Stormy is a familiar face both around the forums, in the UFP Discord, or in-game, wherever that may be. Another one of those rare souls that can multitask, he serves with distinction and dedication in Starfleet Academy as Recruit Support Officer and Recruitment Coordinator, ensuring that our new members are never left without guidance, always eager to lend a hand or provide advice about the functioning of the UFP to members new–or old. Alongside this, he works in the STO Division as a Personnel Officer, ensuring that there, too, the members of the UFP are never left lacking. For these reasons and his continued dedication, Stormy is awarded the Federation Order of Distinction and a promotion to Vice Admiral. Congratulations!
Tain
Received a Medal
Next up in our Award Ceremony tonight we have Tain, While previously serving in the Academy they now lead a quieter life on the UFP. A common sight on the birthday threads as well as any threads that catch their interest, Tain is a welcome sight all around the UFP. Having been around since 2010 they have long since become a part of the furniture. A reliable feature of the community who you can be sure will be around for any good discussion. For their long-standing dedication to the UFP, we are proud to award Tain with the Starfleet Cross. Congratulations
WoorLord
Received 2 Medals
- Starfleet Medal
- Fleet Loyalty Commendation
Serving as the Commanding Officer of the Federation News Service, WoorLord is a familiar and friendly face around the forums, writing and editing many articles that always seek to inform and delight the UFP, which he and his team do with a certain level of skill that is nigh unequalled elsewhere in the Federation. Under his leadership, the FNS has developed a consistent schedule, providing fun and informative content that is always deserving of praise–and so is its CO. He is also nearly always present on the forums in some way, engaging with the wider UFP and providing a friendly word and some fascinating tidbits of information that are sure to liven up any conversation. Pardon the rhyme. For these reasons, WoorLord is awarded the Starfleet Medal and the Fleet Loyalty Commendation. Congratulations!
Zach
Received 2 Medals
- Starfleet Cross
- Medal of Excellence
Yet another one of those rare souls that can multitask and a member of the old guard from back in 2009, Zach serves three roles: as a Technical Support Technician for Technical Services, as a Global Moderator and, most recently, as a Graphics Team Member for the Federation Administrative Bureau. And, indeed, he has hit the ground running, rapidly creating his first signature to the high standard expected by the Graphics Team. For his dedication and excellent service, Zach is awarded the Starfleet Cross and the Medal of Excellence. Congratulations, and keep going!
