Greetings!
I thought I should make another post just to update everyone what we've been up to behind the scenes.
Let's begin with the all-new Community Gaming insignia!
Community Gaming now has an insignia which members from STO, Holodeck and RPD could additionally choose represent in their posts, internal guides, and so forth. Though in all honesty, its going to be utilized for most Community Gaming related correspondence and/or events by the Heads of Community Gaming. But the option is there!
So who do we have to thank for this amazing insignia? I'm going to use the spoiler below to have a failed attempt at creating suspense (since we all know who it is)
He's done a darn good job with it, all credits and thanks to him!
Holodeck XO recruitment
Holodeck is a division with great potential however we've noticed Holodeck operate without an XO for quite sometime. It became imperative to strengthen the command structure first, so Chris could have some support with ideation for holodeck events and other games ideas. As such, we have Bedders as the successful applicant and re-joining the Starfleet Command team. I'm eager to see how CG can support Chris and Bedders moving forward. There are many members within UFP who enjoy playing a variety of games and Bedders is an amazing events host himself!
Star Trek Online - XO position focus & Interim Head of STO
STO XO Focus:
We are in midst of re-organizing XO focus areas for STO Command. STO Command work as one team, however each individual has one key primary focus area. These also used to include SFO and KDF fleets, however we merged it all under STO Fleet Management. As such, we're drafting a write-up for this new role, and a job role with a day-to-day activity focus towards facilitating STO Recruitment will be in the coming weeks. This individual will work very closely with Heads of Community Gaming, specifically me. If this peaks your interest, feel free to reach out to me on discord or over PMs here. The job application for this position will be up within 24 hours from this post going live, with more details present within the job posting.
Head of STO:
Currently Bridger and myself are interim joint Commanding Officers. We're just ensuring the foundation of XO is stable before we have a new Head of STO.
Roleplay Division
We're exploring how to enable more creative writing one-off more accessible for community members. To be transparent, we've only just begun - as RPD team has been busy integrating the channels within UFP discord, which is still on-going some final tweaks. For the RPD staff, please do ensure to subscribe to the "Roleplay" group under Channels & Roles, as well as subscribe to the RPD channels for relevant visibility and access.
Contests & Tournaments:
I personally see its been awhile something has happend. We plan on looking at this once our internal division command structures are more stable.

Looks great! I love the new look logos
Especially the pip-boy on the Community Gaming one (yes it is, I cannot unsee it now).
