The double discount equates to almost 40% off the original 12000. We can probably agree at this stage that that's a much more attractive price point and represents far better bang for your buck.

PSA, the Reroute Shields to Hull Containment ability pairs nicely with the Emergency Response Teams trait from the Anniversary Vulcan ship.

I've only bought the Gargarin yesterday for 2,100 - and wow. I recommend this ship at this price point! It's a great ship, it can have many build possibilities!

The Gagarin is the star of that pack for me. Did I happen to mention I like it? Am I going to end up like Scarlett and the Excelsior?

I just need a bit of a think about the build I'll be using as it could do with having a science officer in the universal slot.

Anyhoo....I could see a use for the trait simply to proc a freebie Torp Spread for my builds, provided I have a spare tac seat i can dump a BFAW or CSV onto.

It's quite a nice looking ship so i might grab it, but i'd admittedly never fly the thing very often.

Perhaps more for the build forum at a later date, but I'll keep it in here for now.

I'm a bit old school and typically only use the regular assortment of boff abilities. With the Gagarin being a MW cruiser though, I'm thinking it may be time to branch out a little.

Reroute Shields to Hull Containment has been mentioned and it sounds like that may be worth a look as a replacement for Auxiliary to Structural Integrity. But what about Mixed Weapons Synergy and Exceed Rated Limits, would either of those be worth having a look at?

I use both on my Polaron Jem’Hadar Warship. Combined with the Morphogenic set Mixed Weapons Synergy is definitely worth it imo. Also Exceed Rated Limits feels quite good on this build, so I would recommend playing around with both.

One thing I am not quite sure yet: Is there a discount for people who bought the Discovery Starter Pack? I could not decide yet if I should just buy the Gagarin or the whole thing.
