Decided to try my hand at building the new Titan-class at T6-X Fleet level, its not perfect especially since my weapons and equipment are no top grade yet
USS Galatea NCC-81985 named after the moon of Neptune discovered in 1985

The big thing to remember with the build is to fire off Grav well and then immediately shift to Tactical Mode to take advantage of the Voice and the enhanced maneuverability. Though admittedly in ISA everything is usually dead in 30 seconds anyway so you usually end up just staying Science mode for the whole SFT.
One of my first science builds any comments will be appreciated!
Opening Salvo seems to be incredibly potent if your building around its strong points.
The subsystem disable is affected by DrainX so on a science ship this is likely to be high anyway but you can buff it further to help other abilities too.
The effect also hits every target shot at by the console and there’s a maximum of 12 targets.
Chatting in game last night to some fleet members some reported that if you min-max for DrainX you can get the disable up to 30 seconds in length.
So potentially you can leave an entire fleet of enemy ships dead in the water for half a minute! That’s no shields to protect them and they can’t fight back or move.

I’m considering slotting the console on my T6 Verne, its quite a nice AoE disable. This could be great for HSE and ISE runs to help control the adds a bit more. The Titan is an overall great ship!
You it’s got great potential for the console to be used in scenarios where you have lots of very tough mobs together. HSE is a good example I reckon like you say.
Using it on low value targets is a waste due to the 2 min cool down.
I know its not optimized because I don't have elite level gear but as an alpha-strike of grav well, destabilizing and opening Salvo does significant damage if it doesn't clear the board completely.

The setup is actually pretty solid chase, did you get the House Mo’kai Science set from the Widening Gyre event? If you did I’d recommend looking at the 2 piece set bonus as it gives a nice bonus to exotic critical damage and weapon specialisation. I personally run the shield and core because I like my competitive rep engines. However you could mix and match as you like.
Are you going for a high damage space magic build?

Mostly burst damage/control yeah.
Ive thought about replacing the Bajoran deflector with the Mo'kai deflector and possibly my Ionia shield with its shield. Little hesitant to replace the temporal 2 piece since it gives a nice bonus to DoT as well.
The one starship trait I wish I had was improved Grav Well but I don't have the Andorian Pilot Escorts. I also know Black Alert while synegizing with the kemocite/beam overload combo might not be the best pick either but for my available traits seemed like it was the best option to eek out a little more damage especially when in tactical mode waiting for grav well to come off cooldown.
