Earlier today a Community Meeting took place, these meetings take place prior to UFPACs and feature a quick update from the CL6s and CL5s about what they are currently working on and provides members the opportunity to ask questions or provide feedback. Below you will find the minutes of the meeting.

Head of Community Administration

• An Executive Officer for FAB is likely to be appointed imminently.
• Work is on-going to replace and update our various different documents covering rules.
• The Federation Council recently held constituency meetings, the turn out to some was very low.

• Work has focused on the UFPAC this month, after the UFPAC work will resume on other projects.

Head of External Affairs

• Work on the Newsletter system is ongoing.
• If anyone has any ideas for a name for the Newsletter let Cehus know.
• There has been a drop in number of FNS writers, if you are interested in writing for FNS speak to Cehus or Torinth. LINK 1 LINK 2

Chief of Staff/Head of Member Experience

• Starfleet Academy received over 99% on it's survey score. Community Log posted. LINK
• Orientation Assessment was successfully launched and replaces the Entrance Exam. LINK
• Work has begun on replacing the Administration Exam and is well ahead of schedule.
• Work on the replacement for the Command Exam is likely to start within the next few weeks.

Lazereth
Head of Community Social Affairs

• Producing the UFPAC has been the main focus. Thanks to those that have helped.
• If you are interested in helping to produce UFPACs let Lazereth know.
• Looking in to ways of closing the gap between gaming and forum activity.

President/Lead Community Administrator

• Community Log posted addressing Fleet Survey and FEO objectives. LINK 1 LINK 2
• Our Star Trek Online threads have recently been re-launched, members that use the STO forums are free to take part in those threads. LINK 1 LINK 2 LINK 3
• Work is on-going to replace and update our various different documents covering rules.

Mikester92
Head of Community Gaming

• Community Log covering the feedback for the gaming divisions has been posted. LINK
• Actively working on ways to increase the number of events taking place during peak times in North America.

FEDERATION EXECUTIVE OFFICE QUESTIONS

Britsurfer asked Cehus what sort of turnaround time there was between an FNS writer submitting an article and it being posted. Cehus responded that it depended on the availability of other members of FNS and could be anywhere between an hour and two days.

NeoTrident asked Lazereth how members could get involved in helping with the UFPAC. Lazereth said that the main opportunity was helping to write the script although smaller more specialist tasks were also available.

• House of Kular is currently looking for more Event Officers. LINK
• 3rd Champion Standing Batleth competition will be launched soon.

SammyGM
Starfleet Reserves

• Stratagem was on-going but members are still able to sign up.
• The Reserves are currently looking for more Event Officers. LINK 1 LINK 2

Three of Seven + NeoTrident
Starfleet Operations

• A number of US based Event Officers have recently been hired.
• Starfleet Opertions is currently looking for more Event Officers. LINK
• Feedback is currently being sort as to what sort of Crafting Service members would like. LINK
• An announcement is due to be made soon with regards to a change in the cap on UFP 3rd Fleet.
• A number of members have been filling in Fleet Invites wrong which have led to delays, it was suggested that members record their STO handle in their profile so SFO staff can check for spelling errors in the handle name so as not to delay Fleet Invites.
• New communication on the Fleet Invite process is due to be released shortly.
• UFP 2nd and 3rd Fleets are in need of DOFFs to progress Fleet Holdings, a guide will be released shortly explaining how members can most easily obtain DOFFs.

ESF)

• More introduction and training events are
• Currently looking for more people to run events in order to better cover a range of time zones.
• ESF members are currently spending most of their time on Tribble in order to produce guides for Delta Rising.

STARFLEET COMMAND QUESTIONS

Minnow asked SammyGM how members could obtain the games supported by the Reserves. SammyGM replied that Elite Force and RPG-X could both be obtained via the UFP EF Launcher. The other games supported by the Reserves are no longer in print and may be difficult or costly to obtain.

Solace asked what ESF Black Ops does. Begotten responded that the group has two main goals, the first was to test new high level content on Tribble and report on it, the second was to tackle high level content such as No Win Scenario. There has been a lack of challenging content for some time which has hindered Black Ops however Delta Rising should hopefully help with this.

There were two discussions, the first was aimed at getting a better idea of what it was that members wanted in terms of events, the second related to the feedback received by ESF.
