Radiant then starsider near the end of days. I swear, I still miss my decimator, Vaksai and V wing. Space pvp in that game was incredible
My favorite ship was always the KSE Firespray. It might have flown like a tank at first, but after I squeezed in a nice pre-nerf RE'd lvl 8 engine, she handled like a beauty. I armed it with twin RE Borstel's, a pair of concussions missiles and a nasty space bomb that I'd drop in my path when the speedier ships swooped past me. Topped it off with some hefty RE'd lvl 10 armor and shields, and I was taking four or five hits when other ships were getting knocked out by one of mine.
A lot of people thought flying a KSE was a joke, and it made me a target a lot of the times, especially for hotshot Interceptor and A-Wing jockeys. They all learned the hard way, and I built up a name as the guy not to mess with when you saw that distinctive shape off in the distance in Kessel or Deep Space.

Just thought I'd bump this to reintroduce myself to the fleet. I took a break from PC gaming when my last laptop took a dump a few years back and have mostly been active on PS4 (PSN Befopap). I tried STO of PS4 but my lifetime sub didn't transfer, so i wasn't that into it. I recently picked up a new gaming laptop that runs STO just fine (if a little hot), so its great to be back! I think my last gaming coincided with the end of the Iconian War and the ship doff system, so I've a lot to catch up on.
I am a huge fan of all things sci-fi and fantasy, and a big trek fan. I've seen the entire series of television shows and movies multiple times, and read several of the comics and novels (with my personal favorite being Yesterday's Saga). I am also an enthusiastic tabletop RPG gamer, and I have a weekly Pathfinder game and a 5e D&D game I DM for some co-workers.
I just unlocked the Crossfield Spearhead for my new disco sci officer, Mirror Zar (a mirror version of the Zar character from Yesterday's Saga). I would love any build advice the UFP community can toss my way for my new ride. I was envisioning a phased polaron loadout with plasma torps, specializing in dps, drain and debuffing.
Anyways, its great to be back and I look forward to making a lot of new friends!
