FLEET ADMIRAL UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Changes being made to future Roll Call surveys in that people leave negative feedback without leaving a comment. We want to make sure that people leave a comment, so that we can address these comments, and possibly make a change to these concerns.

Federation Executive Officers

• Community Administration: We’ve had two community dismissals since our last meeting: Strathkin & Casualsto. Both were dismissed for behaviour not in accordance with the UFP’s code of conduct that they both agreed to follow when they joined:

• Community Development: The FAQ document has been updated, passed to Laz/Jordan for uploading and announcement will be made when this is completed. Giveaway is going well. Taking a look at the Reviews section, have the basis of an idea for the Moon landing next month. Been busy in RL so getting through a few things soon.
  
• Community Gaming: UFPAC recommendations is closing soon on the 20th, so make sure to get your recommendations in before then. With UFPAC we shall once again be doing pre-ufpac events, if you have Ideas for events please post them up in the thread. We’re also bringing back the Elite Force Tournament for the game… Star Trek: Elite Force! Which we legally distribute on the UFP. https://ufplanets.com/cms.php?27-Sta...er-Elite-Force. Infinity will be helping out with this and will take place around august, so keep an eye on that. I’ve also continued work on the Star Trek Boardgame for TableTop Simulator, and it’s almost done! We shall be doing a giveaway for a handful of keys for that and start hosting boardgame events!
• Community Technical Services & Security:

QUICK UPDATES

• Star Trek Online: I have nothing, absolutely nothing.
  
  • Starfleet Operations:
    • Recruited New Staff to the team.
    • Removed and retired Staff.
    • Revamped the STO Discussion Forum
    • Updated the SFO Fleets & Recruitment Status guide under Enlist Transfer > SFO
  • House of Kular:
    
    • Mack will be covering for all HoK duties while Novalance is on vacation.
    • HoK has a new tournament on the works which the members in the community will see very soon.
    • KDF would like to propose some new uniforms which can be used as signatures.
  
  
• Starfleet Holodeck:
  • Two new staff members: Seapanda and Heyallo
  • Warframe has been very popular lately, mainly thanks to Seapanda
  • Several different Stellaris events, including modded and vanilla
  • Lots of people for LFD2 on Mondays
  
  
• Starfleet Tactical: Tactical removed 2 staff members, Aceman and Mark Okuda, and will be looking for new people.
  
• ARES Roleplay: We’ve finished up a major portion of the story we’ve had in the works from the start of the Roleplay. We are beginning to put some effort into developing future chapters. There is some concern on participation to be addressed.
  
• Federation News Service: Look into making more of an effort with Social Media, articles going as well as ever.
  
• Starfleet Academy: Recruitment Operations policy has been updated due to gaps appearing in coverage that resulted in the removal of one of the RSO staff. The Academy still lacks an XO in post, EnlistedNut09 will be advertising this again soon to try and get it filled.
  
• External Operations: Believed to have no issues.

REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING ACTION POINTS

• Discussion on a limit of the number of volunteer roles held by an individual person - Passed over to FAB for discussion, carried to next month.
• Policy change for CL4 members to submit 1 UFPAC recommendation as a mandatory requirement - Still under review.

• Discussion of a revamp of the Reviews section on the website - Tabled by Petrarch.
  Wanting to take a look at turning the little used Reviews page into more of a community resource for a variety of items, including games which would encompass multiple departments. To be discussed further amongst FEO to determine potential formats and setup. Interest has been expressed in a possible role concerning this, to be discussed further pending FEO outcome.

While there is some concern with participation of some members, we need to keep in mind that summer is incoming & activity might drop a bit.

I believe so. I was sat relaxing on the beach when I sent that to Sammy, so it's very probable that I wasn't paying any attention to what I was typing.
