Why is this the hardest part?
i was raised on TOS & got blown away by TRON in 1982 & STAR WARS in 1983...
i spent a lot of Junior High on my Atari, my friend Ruben's SNES & the local Arcade. Or building models & minis. Classic cars, sci-fi ships, robots, etc...
i got into Acting & was a Theatre Major in high school. Was in the top of my class when i graduated.
Three colleges & mountains of Debt later, dozens of jobs of which only a few where fun and/or rewarding, i am an uncertified engineer, drafter/designer and programmer with no degree, but at least i'm Debt-free!

i don't Discord often as my current pc's OS (win10.xyz) throws fits & hogs the hard drive. Once i've saved my open WIPs, i'll gladly reboot & do Discord.
By ".. change your nickname to match the name you use on the forums." i take it you/Discord Bot means my handle customization on UFPlanets' server?

Are Forum Sig Banners compressed/cropped to the 740x200px that i see members using or do they need to be edited to those dimensions?
My existing STO Banners are 800x300 presently.

Welcome to the UFP. In regards to your Signature there are a few rules. Should you wish to not used the wonderful graphics teams creation when you become eligable Article 5 of the Code of Conduct (https://ufplanets.com/cms.php?19-Code-of-Conduct) is where you need to look. Of course at the end of the day our Federation Administrative Bureau are final arbiters and they will let you know if there is a problem.

I'm also sure that Stormy - your recruit support officer - will be able to help advise on this if you need anything more in that area.

In hindsight, i maybe should have disclosed a bit more in the 'About Me' section.
I started STO in Open Beta (2009/10?) & SWTOR in 2012, playing both fairly regularly until a couple years ago, due to microsoft ordering my win10.x to go FULL RETARD. It has rendered ALL my games unplayable.
I'm looking into alternatives to Windows that can play MMOs without issues. Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated.

My phone isn't that smart, so downloading anything isn't an option.

i am looking forward to being able to play again. i aim to get reacquainted with my existing chars & make a few new ones.
Most of my chars should be in a fleet.
My preference in STO is Tanky Beam builds, which i do need to update/optimize.

There is a Commodore 64 game with 8bit blocky graphics & what appear to be TOS Connies. Anyone know the name of it?
It might be older, as the game i remember was in Black & White, not color.
